Warrior General Games

Maybe I'm missing something but I honestly see 12 potential playoff teams...am I missing something?
If I have time, I'll try and prognosticate before the opening kickoff. Whatever the case, WL looks solid top to bottom on both sides!
EDIT: I suspect Survivor is going to be brutal

Survivor has been a bloodbath and we're only 3 games in...OP talked about 12 that were capable of winning any game played

I agree that there is a tough group of teams in WL this season. Every game will be a struggle.

Survivor has only 7 left after 5 games!!

Cherokee is the best 0-5 team in a looong time!! Lot's of balance in WL in terms of talent. Last 11 games should be quite interesting and Zeta in particular is wide open, although Mauler/Steve seem intent on bringing the Bort Trophy back home (SWAT) after a 6 season hiatus...

Week 7 and Survivor is done

EDIT: Florida at 1-6 at this point is shocking. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out. Literally there are no gimmies in WL!

KoB is right, no gimmies in WL this season. Both conferences and every team is still in the mix.
War Machine starting out with a 1-4 record has turned it around with 3 game winning streak against MRH, Swat and Nomad those teams are no slouches neither.
MRH and Florida setting at 2-6 but only 1 game out of a playoff spot.
Going to be a interesting 2nd half of the season to see how it plays out

Yeah, no gimmies.

But seeing teams to throw games in order to give their other network teams a better shot of making the POs...i feel bad for the the teams that are trying to stay in WL the fair way. I thought it was only a 7steel case in the past but i definitely was wrong. But if that is the new normal moving forward in WL, then so be it and good to know for the future seasons.

I'm sure it was just an AI blunder that caused SWAT to run HB Blast every play in the last two games, I have a feeling they will get it fixed vs. 4th Street

Wow, I looked into it a bit more, and you're right. In SWAT's first 7 games, Mauler and Steve went with a 69%/31% Run/Pass mix using a wide variety of formations, going 6-1 and averaging 27 points per game. Then SWAT runs into back-to-back games with two other Mauler+Steve teams that are fighting for their playoff lives, BIA and Cherokee, and suddenly SWAT dials up 100% inside HB runs in Big-I formation, all dives and slams, and both BIA and Cherokee use defensive plays that are great for stopping HB dives in Big-I and not much else. And SWAT scores 0 points in both games. SWAT has such a bid lead in their conference that they remain #1, and BIA and Cherokee each get an easy win and get a leg-up in their playoff races in the other conference.

I've had two teams together in a league before, and not once have I let the stronger team lose to help the weaker team. That is some shady shit there.

Mauler, I'm especially disappointed that it's you in particular. Maybe I'm naive, but I thought you were better than this.

If this is allowed in WL now, this really makes me question the money I've spent on this game. Very troubling.

Did we throw the game to War Machine or BIA to Nomad since BIA seemed to run TE CO so many times I got sick of seeing it and they got TD's off of picks FTW? Did Asau beat OPT by 3 TD's due to an OAI or DAI failure when OPT won the WL last season and Asau was fighting for their lives in the other Conference and OPT was 6-0 at that time? I could talk about MRH's vs. CTown the last 6 or so Season's, but why go there. The truth is I have put little to no effort in this game the past week or so do to RL issues and if you don't like the outcome do to this just STFU and quit being drama queens. After all, this is just a game and if you win your games no matter what other teams may do you will win whatever Title you are searching for and you will never find that creating drama on a forum page like a immature ahole.

Isnt it just mauler vs mauler or mauler vs Ryan every season anyway. I haven’t kept up in a few seasons so what do I know

Going from undefeated in WL to being shut out back to back games is suspicious to say the least. I would have been shocked if nobody brought it up.

SWAT ran a normal offense against War Machine, so no, you didn't throw that game. But it takes time and effort to rebuild your entire offense from a normal run/pass mix down to an all Big-I runs offense, so no, it wasn't because you "didn't have time." When I don't have time to gameplan, we carry the prior game's gameplan forward and let it roll again with no changes. Try again.

And if other people are colluding, please show your evidence of this. And even if other people are colluding, that doesn't make it okay for you to collude as well. Try again.

Says the Forum troll who should go back to the Pro's where he belongs. Got caught at what by the way, One of my team's beating the other because of an OAI flaw two games in a row which I could care less about. The OAI flaw with BIA vs. Nomad hurt much more. By the way, any OC/DC can make a game look valid when both teams are theirs, don't you think? Why wasn't that done? Goes back to the definition of Palooka and yourself!
