Out of curiosity, when stats say a punter hit inside the 20/10/5, is that where the ball was caught or where the KR was tackled?

Tackled, Fair Catch, ball drop, or out of bounds; are what decides what category the punt fits into if any.
If the punter kicks it to the 5-yard line, but it gets returned for a TD. They won't count that as a punt inside the 5-yard line.
