Will a CPU / Dleague team use a player based on their archtype?

Example: would they call a few QB running plays for a Rushing QB?

Or does that not have any effect?

No effect. Especially a rQB. I don't remember ever seeing a running play for a QB called on purpose by a d-league Ai.

A CPU team might be different. They keep the Ai of whoever had the team last. So it's possible, but not likely, because you'd have to get assigned to the right depth chart slot also.

You could buy a team, offer your player a contract, set it all up, and then sell the team for a partial refund, and not get hit with the CPU dot penalty.

D league, CPU team... doesn't matter. Buggers will play you wherever they want. I've had a DE used as a Returner once. Like... wtf???

In D leagues the human owned dot with the most speed handles kick return duties, and the human owned dot with the most carrying handles punt returns. There is a minimum requirement but it is not very high.
