That's casual for you. This team won gold last season and we still lose to cpu teams...in fact just lost to one today

Obviously. I just hate CPU teams are so tough for teams trying to put something together.

CPU teams will beat teams that have holes and beat teams that don't if they fail to set a gameplan because "it's a CPU team"

I think this happens more in casual than regular - we have been building farm teams for 20-30 seasons and I cannot ever remember losing to a CPU team (we may have, but if we did it was probably because we forgot to gameplan, since we sometimes do that in WL too lol)

Remember, teams that are OWNED by CPU don't get the penalty for having too many CPU dots on a roster. That penalty only applies to HUMAN-owned teams with more than 10 CPU dots.

Also remember that when a human team goes to CPU-owned, it keeps all of its AIs and packages and plays until another human buys it. That can make a difference too. But the other side of that coin is that they don't make any game-to-game adjustments or changes. So if you scout a CPU-owned team, you know EXACTLY what they will do against you. That gives you an edge... but only if you're willing to do the work of scouting a CPU-owned team.

No one should lose to a CPU team in non-casual, because like Novus said, you can just find any play they suck at defending and spam them with it, as long as you're willing to take a few minutes to do a quick scout. However, that isn't really possible in casual, is it, so there is that... but really not to be rude but as was said earlier, 1-7 is the issue, and against good human teams the scores would be undoubtably worse. There's definitely a lot to learn and if you need some pointers to speed up that process many will lend assistance.

No one should lose to a CPU team in casual with proper scouting and tactics. I can't remember a single game I'd DC'd against a CPU team with a properly filled human team that lost to a CPU team due to scouting and setting tactics for them.

Losing to CPU teams is demoralizing lol, but even scouting the CPU owned teams with the knowledge that my GM's and me have, we make a somewhat decent gameplan, and not only do they end up doing the complete opposite of what we scouted, but then they look to be an NFL team playing against 8th graders with how many pancakes there are against my team, how many broken tackles. And its not even they get TD's, its FG after FG after FG they have
