Game of the week:
The Roman Legion vs. Corrupt Mayors
Fire King Casino Odds: Rome -4.5
These two teams early in seasons usually make for a good game with the Mayors snagging the last few I believe. This fixture has also been known to impact playoff seeding down the line which may be extra important this year with the East looking strong from top to bottom.

Fire King Casino Odds: VOS -10
VOS looks to dominate the trenches with their boosted lines, taking away the traditional EF path to victory.

Berlin Mustaches vs. Cleveland Brownz

Biggest spread of the week goes to Berlin who look to take advantage of the Brownz despite a strong preseason from the newcomers.

But this season it may be a struggle to make the playoffs .... so no tanking for fun. Should be a good game. Nice writeup!

Hokies checking in late. Long time GBLer but this is my first season back in a WHILE. I was super pumped to see the league is filled with users! Not so pumped to round out the 10th spot of the power rankings... I believe a big win week 1 will turn the tide...

First game is always weird, especially since we both have not fielded teams in awhile.
I was trying to think about what kind of defense you had while scouting and just threw in a bunch of random plays and just hoped maybe a few would break for me. Lol.
Looking forward to our rematch towards the end of the season and hopefully a game with more fireworks!

yea, i had to play a bunch of scrims last night to just figure out how to get my ai to work... says its active but would just use basic... dropped it in the tactics calendar and it stuck... its like starting an old truck.
