GG PSAI, quite a beating for a WL welcome.

My K has been waiting several seasons for that game.

As far as the State of the Game: GLB seems to be staging a revival with such stalwarts as Mauler/Steve, RyanCane, Tomcic/reddogrw, along with Little M and his crew holding down the fort. Now we have nexill and Co getting more involved. It is also noteworthy that the Sea Wasps Org is consistently WL-promo competitive, having a playoff year now and again. Meanwhile, WLE has quality dots coming up through the lower leagues so it looks like they are becoming another group to help GLB get reestablished to years gone by.

A Day 42 WL playoff prediction for next season, S89. Rosters aren't even fully set, so we'll see how this fares.

Here goes for some specifics: It appears that both Conferences have a legit 5 teams trying to squeeze into the 4 spots available...should be a fun WL season as at least 1 high quality team from each side to be demoted. This should be one of the most competitive WL regular seasons we've had in a long time.

I am going on record right now saying there is only 1 team that has virtually no chance for the playoffs (Odyssey). Not intended as a cut, as at least they made it here. Cherokee in Alpha looks to me like the best 6th place team in recent memory. They could sneak into the playoffs if a few things go their way.

S89 WL should be a lot of fun for everyone. For the first time in many seasons, coordinators will have to saddle up for virtually every game

EDIT as a swap is inevitable...corrections made to OP

Good stuff,

GG Nomad.

EDIT: It's the first time I was worried by the score. Similar time of possession, 2 vs 1 turnovers and puting aside the return score I think a score around 17-35~40 could be normal but 58 in that type of game? Come on Borf!!!

So far, this has been the best WL regular season in a long, long time! Upsets this season almost certainly will mean demotion.

Crazy that after 7 games, Florida, the 2-time defending champion is already approaching life support at 2-5. A REALLY good team will be demoted in Alpha, the rest of this season should be a blast!!
