Free lane to the QB; in typical GLB2 blitz fashion he engages a blocker. Guess he always wanted to be an olinement? I don’t get the blitz logic in this game, it’s nonexistent on man.

some of it probaly just is the animation. Basically the blocker passed the check and the actual roll said he engaged. Makes animations look goofy

If the QB was moving to the way of the blocker I could understand. He’s rolling left, while the LB is already playing the left angle. Considering the pocket was folding on the left, there’s no real escape route here; it’s an open lane. Even if it’s animation, you can see he clearly turns around and engages the block. Also with the amount of points I put into diving I just don’t see how he’s sucked into the block, should be outside the radius. It’s structurally unsound blitz pathing, I’ve been talking about it for a while. If they fixed pathing on blitzes (especially man) then defense of pretty set tbh.

I would like to save cap on super star linemen and just blitz the hell out of people. Throw me a bone devies.
