All O-linemen should double-stack (at least) hold block. All d-linemen should double-stack break block. All run-stopping defense should double-stack make tackle. Receivers should double-stack catch %. You get the picture.

There are positions and builds where it's not necessary; dots in the secondary mostly come to mind. But even then, having two make tackle pieces or two intercept pieces can be a great call.

to add to this

there is a reason the 2nd piece of % was cut in half, the 3rd but by 75%, etc.

it is that william_alloy (I think that was the user name) stacked 3 pieces of AE and had +75%HB, MT, etc. and won 3 straight WL titles

it is that overpowered

it won't save a bad build; it needs to be part of an elite build

I think maybe as much as anything, Hold Block % is vital. You only get pancaked if you don't hold the block. Other than that, strength, blocking, agility, max weight. This is the guy you really want to ask

Even though we had a lousy season, he still led all of World League in pancakes and in pancake to revcake ratio. If there is anyone who knows some tricks to that, its Jeff.

so - I looked at the game where he had 15 pancakes - the first 3 pancakes I found were him pancaking a CB like here

people get too caught up on the "pancake" stat IMO

Wait a minute! Aren't you and Jeff the same person? Just like Finkle is Einhorn

This was probably my favourite O lineman that I've ever built..https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4461681
Stamina and pancake are slightly higher than plateau due to post plateau training, but not much. 1096/79 pancake/rev cake split is fairly decent, as all his plateau was at WL level for Odessa winning 4 titles. Madmustaff had a blueprint for Dotball Syndicate players, as all the top teams do, and I've pretty much built my O linemen the same way ever since.
Easily my favourite players to build but I'm weird like that

That's what I remember hearing. It was back when jdbolick was helping the yellow1 finally get to WL and w_alloy put a lot of players on the team.
