I've asked around to some WL guys, as well looked at the builds of the cbs who my dots are on teams with. The vast majority literally don't even touch Confidence when building cbs. I look to build an int cb next season.

I thought the global meta for confidence (not including qbs/kicker) was to always get your confidence to at least 40?

CONF has supporters and haters....imo always more beneficial for STR based dots ....OTK is the 40 marker ........Some teams use it virtually across the board others not so

I recommend 40 confidence to get OTK if you want to play in WL, because there are so many close games in that league.

It's more about Confidence vs 'Other Skills' than it is about being against confidence. INT builds require Catching to work well and Catching is a 'additional' skill. You still have to have high Speed, Agility, Vision... you still should have a decent ability to tackle... maybe some strength as well... stamina... I mean, it's really a great Coverage CB that can catch in the end... but Catching is extra so something has to give and Confidence is usually the 1st thing to fall away. If you asked those same builders if they could build their INT CB's and still end up with 60+ confidence or more?... They'd all take that.
