So I havent played GLB in ages, and figured since I had so many Flex points I may as well give it a go again. Is it still worth playing? Or is it pretty much no fun until you can get into higher leagues now? The lower leagues look like mostly crap, with not alot of real activity.

Maybe I am wrong, but it looks as if there have been no updates here in 8 years? GLB 2 looks more desolate than GLB 1!! I always thought it was a bonehead move to create a product to directly compete with your original product, why not just re-vamp the original?

So am I barking up the wrong tree? Or can I re-create some enjoyment from many years passed?

Even lower leagues can be fun.

I made a few players about a year ago for the first time in like ten years and I'm glad I did.

I still enjoy GLB, at all levels. Definitely more fun at the top, but if you find the right group of owners and agents, lower levels are still fun too.

Good to hear! Any chance this thing is up for sale?

Too late for this season I guess, but if anyone needs players for the next one, give me a shout. I have a shitload of flex to use up before the plug gets pulled!

you can still build a peewee team this season, you get all the training points and you wouldn't be at a disadvantage, level wise

I mainly played glb when I was a child and up until last year I had 0 idea of what was going on/how to build dots/dots were only good enough for dleague teams/ etc. I just came back maybe 9-10 months ago maybe less and the process/progression I made learning how to actually play/build/ is very enjoyable. So I think if you can surely get some of that old excitement back.

They made adjustments to the League structures; there's only 6 teams per conference. So even though there's less teams there's maybe more community. Its still very competitive and fun to play.

I came back and found a good core of agents I played with years ago were still here. I remember having a few Jot dots on my teams.

I've been logging in to GLB for 13 years and I still identify as a child with no idea what's going on or how to build dots.

Same here!
I did learn to stop putting points in blocking on defensive linemen....so I guess i've improved a little over the years.
