I see what Ryan did this off-season with filling the key spots with decliners. Certainly gives him an edge while forcing starters on 3/4D.
Good job.

And yes, 240s can make WL. Ryan made it in S85 and Hood...well... almost

But tbh it really depends on the DCs combined with dot talent you are about to face and if your dot-builders will have 2 1/2 of the AEQ set by day 34.

...and I thought you've been in WL, how many teams do you have?

EDIT: Ranked scrimmage against a team with lvl 68 players in the roster! well done!!!

Holy crap, will you stop whining and try to make sense? Rankings have been broken for at least 10 years. I honestly don't think I even was really playing GLB back when that still worked. I'm working in our new DC updates for the roster additions and I click auto friendly on a team. The team has good GMs and I'm not scouting the roster to figure out who to play in friendlies lol (this is why I said it seemed like they had a ton of 240 day players, I realized as I was watching the game turn into an early blowout that all their players were only 240 day so there was nothing they could do) Yeah I should checked beforehand though, because it was too one sided with too many ST plays so I had to do another friendly right after to see if the DC and energy settings were right, But who cares, its a preseason friendly...

But seriously dude I'm starting to think you are on drugs with that creepy lizard eye and what with you switching from sensible opinions to nonsense in no time flat. Use your mind- if we barely barely barely beat Bama and Austin to make World League, and Jersey Showboats were just as good as those teams but we got lucky to not have to face them and Bama in the same play-offs. and right now Austin is ranked as low as #8 (?!?) so how is any of those teams who are just as good as us and WL worthy, how are any of those teams going to lose to a team we beat by 121 points? I don't care about preseason I'm talking math. You can swing a score maybe even 50 points with the right game plan, maybe even more, but 121 points?!? There is no game plan for that. That's too big a gap because of the level discrepancy.

It's the fact that you mentioned it and border line bragged about beating a team full of level 68's. You're exactly right "who cares, it's a preseason friendly." Bash E cares, that's who.

No, it wasn't a fair match up. I completely agree and as I said that wasn't what we meant to do. I'm not trying to put the team down as i am sure once they are fully built to level 79 it will be a completely different story. The point is they are not yet and there are a lot of teams that are. Based on the teams in NA Pro last season they would have been up against it even trying to make the pay-offs, and IDK what League they are in but I'd expect there are teams with all lev 79 dots who should have too big an advantage because of that.

I wish the World League had this type of commentary instead of discussing my thrown together Nat Pro team lol..

A lot of good points in this thread, especially zz man & Tom.

I assure you Tampa is not a top 10 team right now.. half the dots don't have VA's assigned and with 3 CPU teams in our conference, I doubt that will change until, or even after, the playoffs. These dots are set to go to the big league next season, this team won't continue in it's current shape. I brought in some 79s to make it more interesting for me, my coordinator(s) and my agents but it is way down my cares totem pole with 3 WL teams.. That ranked scrimmage I had a power HB and an all strength equipment LB in at CB if you don't believe me..

There are several WL worthy teams in Pro and of course the ones returning from the WL should be favorites to return.. let's discuss them!

Ya it is so far down on RC's care pole that he is letting me do the ocing. Now that's so far down I don't think that there is a chance to pick up the care pole

You’re modest but as you said with 3 cpu in the conference everything is possible in the playoffs.

Think Ive said before nearly all D were on 6 OTK in that game...And it came down to a foot ? Point is we went on to WL got butt kicked out and eventually got back because we learnt a little. Now its got to be enough quite a few times !!!!!

One more set of rankings will be coming out before the regular season starts up. A little bit more irrelevant preseason data and some board opinions has had an impact. In the meantime, a prediction of each conference race for the playoff seedings.

Getting closer to eliminating those CPU playoff teams (only 1 this season) and bringing some relevancy to the regular season (4 non-CPU teams will miss the playoffs). If we can keep the momentum, NatPro might just look pretty good in a season or two.
