Theoretically it says "Additional Levels:
Increases the bonus toward avoiding fakes and noticing developing plays."

would this work say on a punter after he punts and maybe needs to land a tackle?

Theoretically yes, but I wouldn't create a punter with making the tackle in mind

Agree. If you're looking for a few good bonus SA's for punters, consider the following;

Closing Speed; Probably nothing puts the ball carrier farther away from the player than a punt (except for kickoffs so good for Kicker too). Speed and acceleration boost.

AOI; I reckon it's gets abused on most O and D-line dots so why not here too?

Diving Tackle / Wrap Up Tackle; Either one but of the two I would think Diving has more potential as most Punters (and kickers) don't have the secondary skills to put themselves into a quality 'wrap up tackle' position... generally making a last ditch "dive" at the returner as they speed past.

Change Direction; Again, we're talking usually not-so-fast and not-so-agile players (punters and kickers) when compared to rest of the field so anything that helps them get an edge on cutting down the angle.

If you put any points in any bonus SAs for punters, then you are doing it wrong.

Yeah Thank you all for the input. Again I was just lost in thought on how that would have any potential whatsoever. Clearly not much

That'd be sweet, but do you really think AoI reaches that far? The punter lines up 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I just can't imagine that the range on AoI is anywhere near that... is it?

On normal punters, it's kinda worthless. But I sometimes like to build psycho style with speed and tackling and all that stuff. I even built one with Blocking once so it could play on Kickoffs. I have one with AOI I'm doing now that's built to be more than just another slow ass space filler after punting the ball. Generally speaking, you don't want your punter making tackles... unless it's built that way and can actually reach the ball carrier just like any other ST player. I just like knowing the returners can't just laugh as the run by.

What I'm saying is that it seems AoI is determined at the snap. If this is the case, as I believe was stated by Bort back in the day, than it just seems to me that AoI would be worthless for a punter because he is too far away from any other players at the snap.

good question....is AOL just determined at the snap or re-calculated over the course of the whole play?

Aura of Intimidation is a permanent radius, like a search light. When a dot enters the radius they have a chance to be "lit up", based on their Confidence. If a dot leaves the radius, they go dark.

Auras can overlap which increases the chance a dot will get lit up.

The value is in dots that can do something to the affected dot to make use of the reduced attributes, like an O-line scoring a Pancake, or a Pummel tick.
