Yeah, I think that was mostly the HB's Spin activating but not helping at all.

Yeah, actually he spun away from the SS and got tackled by another player behind the line of scrimmage but it certainly looks like the SS hit him that hard. It's also the main reason I prefer Juke to Spin.
