Where can I find the #1 ladder finish the last 10 seasons in Vet? This should be the easiest thing to find on this site...yet I cannot find it anywhere. I cannot find it in GLB scout either. For the love of God, give us the ability to search for historical records.

I want to know the records that I will smash!

Why should it be the "easiest thing to find on the site"? Seems like a hard sell arguing that knowing who the best team was two years ago is vital information.

Because the entire point of playing this game is to win games, have your players perform well and view all the historical records. What is the point of playing the games if you can't go back and see all the records?

I'd think having a history for the sim would be a selling point, lots of people like this thing.

Might as well add All-Time Team Wins, etc.

Boss' Hawaii would have to be #1 and LogZilla would be up there.

Yep....I should be able to go to a page and see teams of top all time wins/loses. And all time tackles, sacks, int, passing TDs, etc... for top players. It is a huge implementation that would, IMHO, be one of the best features ever added.

1. Those are not career stats. Those are yearly stats.
2. Those stats do not cross multiple seasons....I.E. sort by team with most wins in a season.
3. Those stat only go back about 3 seasons.

I mean how hard is it to query the database and display the most basic career stats? This should have been done in season 1. I should be able to go to a "stats" page and pull up a list of teams with most all time wins, teams with most wins in a season at Vet, QB with most TDs passed in a career, HB with most yards in a season, etc....

The data exists, it is just not displayed in a user friendly, easily searchable way.

Stobie could do it, but it eats up a lot of storage significantly raising his costs. Technically feasible but $ impractical at the moment.

But is it though?

If viewing historical records was the entire point of the game, we'd have probably had that as a main feature in the first few seasons, not 8 years down the line.

We've asked for a bunch of records to be presented in the past.

If it takes a bunch of coding, then it's probably not worth the time.

If it's simple, then it'd be nice.

For example: The HOF page defaults to All-Time. And it's great that all those rankings exist. Except that whatever metrics created them, the current game isn't really comparable. From a balance stand point, it's better but it's not comparable to 50 seasons ago.

So perhaps the Default load on the HOF page should be the current season and if people want to change and look All-Time, it's there in the drop down menu. Of course, we can just do that ourselves too so I'm not suggesting that it's a requested change.

The Ladder rankings are different in that historically the last Ladder game could run late in the day and then the season ended that night. If you live in EST, you could easily miss who won the Ladder unless you start going to coaches/team pages and looked for the trophies. Now that the season extends one day, it's less of an issue, but there still isn't a historical list. You can only find it by looking at agent pages and figuring it out from the trophy tool tips.

So would it nice, sure. If it's simple, then it's worth it (because I doubt you're making GLB3) but if it's not then you can't justify it and we understand.

The upvotes in this thread disagree with your assessment.

Whoville is dead. 1223-305-8 was our final record. I kept forgetting to turn off the auto renewal and probably picked up 40 of those loses.

It was a legendary run.
