Rhode Island Falcons VS. Sacramento Salvo - With Adderfist recusing himself from participating in Salvo's gameplan; Salvo has traded a bad DC for one somehow even worse. That said, I think Salvo keeps this one tight. A defensive battle that comes down to a squeaker. Salvo surprises even themselves and takes it 7-6.
ATL Dirty Birds VS. MLF Anglers - The Dirty Birds have been performing well in scrimmages despite their defense being headed up by yours truly. I look for their offense to carry the day against a potentially shaky Anglers. Birds 16 - Anglers 10.
CANTON CRUSADERS VS. Davis Empire Tigers - The last time these two teams met was last year and Zoey put the hurt on YungVot in a 30-10 outing. I think YungVot takes his revenge in this game, Tigers take it in the 4th. Tigers 17 - Crusaders 14.
Beaufort Zebras VS. NW Storm - We all know the Zebras have the firepower to get out to an early lead here against Storm. But, can they hang on in the second half when their depth begins to be tested? I don't believe yet. Storm falls behind early before a second half rally to clinch this. Storm 24 - Zebras 13.
Maine Rampage VS. Aikahi Tigers - I have this as my game of the week. I think DD and Agerm73 both need this early win as KC Crowns looks to get up to speed. I think both coaches bring their A game here and it's a defensive showdown. But I put my money on Agerm73. Maine takes it, 7-3.
Omaha Chiefs VS. KC Crowns - KC Crowns get away with one here as their contract woes seem as of yet unresolved. Luckily for them, Omaha is fielding a roster full of CPUs without even the decency of a high contract. Da Phenom and crew cruise to an easy win, 17-0.
