This was my first off-season as a GM in need of free agents. As a test, I solely relied on Marketplace to fill the Bengals' roster. And, I'm happy to say, it was a success and very easy.
Myth Buster: No players listed belonged to inactive agents! In fact, I sought out a few inactive agents to confirm and their players were NOT in the Marketplace.
However, there are bugs that need to be squashed:
1) When searching 'all positions', clicking on the Position column doesn't sort at all.
2) When clicking on other column headers it only sorts that page not the whole list of players.
3) When searching individual positions, it won't show that there are multiple pages (e.g. when searching WRs it shows page 1 in the bottom right but not page 2, even though there are more players than fit on the first page... this is not an issue when searching all positions)
Even with these bugs, I could get around it by toggling Sort between Level and Recently Updated.
Conclusion: All in all, this is the handiest tool for any GM and I am surprised it has, seemingly, fallen out of use.
4 out of 5 stars.
PS. My recommendation (besides fixing the bugs) is to give it a more prominent place where it can easily be found. As in, change the top of page HOME, PLAYERS, GAMES tabs to: HOME, MY PLAYERS, MARKETPLACE, GAMES
