Let's get it on!
Alpha Division
MLF Anglers - I don't know much of anything about nwbachskiau as an owner or coach though his record suggests he's relatively new to the gig. He does however have the quintessential S* TE on his roster and owning the whole roster maybe he has a scheme in mind to surprise people. That said, I think he would be the long shot of the division to make the playoffs.
Rhode Island Falcons - A team boasting 11 Superstars, 8 of which at defense - Rhode Island is expected to perform adequately...Maybe. We hope.
ATL Dirty Birds - Dirtybird212 is a new owner trying to make a go of it. He's got the drive to learn to improve and solid pieces on his roster; the potential for claiming the division is absolutely a possibility for the Birds if they can hit the ground running.
Sacramento Salvo - A spoiler team composed entirely of a washed up Defensive Coordinator and a GM who hasn't been relevant since GLB Classic. Expect the worst here.
Beta Division
NW Storm - Formerly the NW Mixologists, dlcurt is the real deal, and the fact that he is delaying his actual rebuild by one season and is instead fielding a team full of one season wonders arguably makes him even more dangerous this season. It would be ill advised to think Storm couldn't be the one left with the trophy come the end of the season. I expect them to win their division and threaten to take it all.
Beaufort Zebras - Another team with 11 Superstars, this team boasting 8 at offense, including 3 WRs, TE, HB & QB. This team is an offensive juggernaut. The question becomes will the sacrifices they made with the rest of their team to field this kind of firepower come back to haunt them? I think so. Sorry Zebras, I think you'll be relegated to fighting for the Wildcard.
CANTON CRUSADERS - Zoey returns to give Rookie another go. I think however unfortunately that against teams the likes of the Storm and Zebras they'll find themselves overwhelmed in both star power and coaching experience. Maybe next season Zoey.
David Empire Tigers - YungVot also returns for his third shot at Rookie. He seems unshaken with his teams prior performances which is what you need to become a great; the question is has he learned enough from last seasons monstrous Rookie league to come out swinging? I think dlcurt dashes Yungvot's hopes of taking the division, but he could make a push for the Wildcard if he puts the lessons of last season into practice. Keep your chin up Yungvot.
Gamma Division
Aikahi Tigers - DD's team resetting from Vet. DD certainly has the experience to put together a run here in Rookie; however, his early scrimmages have been a mixed bag, seemingly running a 90/10 rushing offense. In a division with newer owners I would expect DD to still be one of the favorites; unfortunately he drew into the division with the Da Phenom and Agerm73, these coaches aren't going to give DD easy wins and I think he'll be amongst the teams clawing from the Wildcard position.
KC Crowns - Fresh off a Vet Championship win against Dredgar's Southside Rebels, the KC Crowns are one of the very best teams in GLB2 and I expect they intend to show it this season. Boasting a rooster full of Superstars (they have 12), one of which is one of the most dominate powerbacks around I don't see how anyone can pick another team as the league favorite this year. They have the staff, they have the stars. The only question left for them seems to be sorting out their contracts which are kind of a mess right now. Assuming they get it sorted out, which I imagine they will, KC Crowns will be the team to beat this year.
Maine Rampage - Agerm73's one season wonder team as they like dlcurt look to rebuild next season. With all high contracts, coaches with the pedigree and front loaded builds it could be possible for Rampage to get off to an early season start and try to hold onto a game advantage over KC Crowns to claim the division. That said, I think KC Crowns can fend them off and instead Rampage becomes the gatekeeper of the Wildcard within the league. Another team that could easily be the last one standing come season end.
Omaha Chiefs - As of right now, mangus7's team is still all cpu. I have no idea if he plans to field a roster or if he's going to go it with just the computers alone. While mangus7 has some rings, he hasn't lifted the gold since Season 15 and I think an all cpu roster is a step too far to win against the likes of the coaches within the division.
