From what I have seen from the outside looking in, I think this season is better than it has been in awhile. 34 of the 48 teams appear to be competitive. Hopefully in the next couple of seasons another wave of teams are added to the fray. I think there's hope that we can have a run with nearly full Pro teams in the coming seasons.
As far as the regular season rankings, yeah, just for entertainment purposes only. But I have spent some time looking at the scores and track records of the teams. And some guessing. Do need more data. Just trying to make the regular season that doesn't matter time a bit more interesting.

in the 8 conferences, you have the following
Europe - West - 3 non-CP rosters are in the playoffs and the #1 Seed faces a 4 seed of CPU's - regular season means nothing
Europe - East - level 63 team isn't making the playoffs - 5 teams for 4 spots - Bears likely the team that misses
NAPL - Canada - River Rats out - PVAC for Crusaders for 1 spot
NAPL - USA - two 1/2 roster teams - 4 playoff teams set

so in all of National Pro, the regular season will decide 1 playoff spot in 2 conferences and those likely already determined

Well, in the leagues where the 1-seed will basically get a bye, there will probably be some jockeying for position for that 1-seed, won't there? If I'm trying to reach WL, only having to win 2 playoff games instead of 3 is a big advantage.

Rankings very hard to get anywhere near accurate. Far too many under-aged/over-aged dots throughout to make solid comparisons. But a few points
Leagues would be better if condensed. Wont happen
A top co-ord trying is probably worth about 40 points against a decent or good co-ord.
Top co-ords are busy have their plans set and work with the best dots
The best dots come from great agents who wanna win at the top level
Of the teams listed above 2 of the top 8 have co-ords who may not have WL experience. They will probably get some in the playoffs !!!
And its just plain wrong to rank any Jersey Showboats team @ 14 no matter what !!!

I agree with this and frankly think NA Pro is by far the toughest League all around and that should be reflected in the rankings. Jersey definitely is a contender in NA Pro and few of the teams ranked above them would be. That's what it looks like to me anyhow.

I must say, although our dude Boxwrench makes the best returners and Cheetara is the best I've ever seen, KP's returner on Austin might be the best in all GLB. She almost singlehandedly won an upset in a game that otherwise would have been very one sided . It looks like KP might win that KR/PR MVP this season.
