yea, that's must be it!

EDIT:btw a team that throws 5-10 screens a game is an "all" rushing team, they're just clever to have a QB.

I'm going to have to take Novus' side on this one. He's spent too many years not winning with an all-rushing team to not be an expert in this.

Lol, FFG only #10?!? Keep on thinking that... Seriously though, you might want to be a bit less reactionary on the lol preseason. We were 15-1 last season and we've a good shot to be better this time. #10, maybe if WL teams were included.

https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4742831

SWAT's QB threw 345 times last year

https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4742727

BIA's threw 330 times

so around 20 attempts/game - so you cannot sell out to stop the run like you can vs an all rushing team

Lol, you won that game literally due to one play you soamned us on because we had never played you before. Please do that dumb crap next time we play you. Go on thinking that we won't adjust to that garbage tactic you got away with since it wasn't a League game thus we didn't even bother to game plan. So many lol

Okay, good to know. Makes it harder to assess those games against Ken's assertions that all-running teams are overpowered... but I would still point out that in 4 of the past 4 finals, the two teams were a balanced-offense team and a run-heavy team. And in 3 of those 4 finals, the run-heavy team lost and looked awful on offense in the process. And the S82 Finals featured two teams who both passed quite a bit more.

Ken's assertions that all-running teams are both "everywhere" and overpowered are both demonstrably false. The last 4 seasons in WL have proven one thing only -- Steve and Mauler are insanely good at GLB and can win big with two entirely different styles of teams -- at the same time.

Brothers In Arms isn't tough because they're an all-running team. They're tough because they're a Steve-and-Mauler team.

Not to mention that the agents and dots on the Steve-and -Mauler teams rock

I mean, isn't it? Athens is 3-7 all-time against Palm Bay, has never beaten us in the playoffs, and is currently riding a 4-game losing streak to Palm Bay. Other teams have better records against us. So, I'll say again: just because *you* struggle against our all-running team doesn't mean all-running teams are all over-powered.

I'm sure this is where you'll point to KC and Stalingrad beating us at our own game a couple of times recently, but I would counter that War Hammer beat us last season with a balanced offense. They didn't have to go run-heavy.

Palm Bay doesn't win so much because we're all-running. We win so much because we build well, scout well, game-plan well, learn from our mistakes and losses, and make good adjustments. If you do all 5 of those things well, you can win with pretty much any type of offense. If you only do 3 or 4 of those things well, you'll top out at good-but-not-great.

Wow! You’re mad with me, so much text for a second time in this thread. I’ll not mention nothing of the above, we’re still one season away from end build. I suppose will see you again in the future somewhere and maybe have a chance to do some things well against your team…. or maybe you’re the only awesome well build/scouted/coordinated team in this league and will never reach your greatness.

Do you want me to be happy with you? You've been on this running-is-overpowered kick since S81, and you've been aiming that fire at me the whole time, even though the evidence your idea is wrong continues to pile up. And you've pretty strongly implied that I am somehow exploiting an unbeatable flaw in the game by running an all-running team. I think I've been pretty nice in response for the past 6 seasons, but I'm running out of patience.

KC, Stalingrad, and War Hammer have all figured out how to keep up with us. You haven't. We're not exploiting a bug in the game. You're just not as good at GLB as you think you are, and you'd rather blame a ficticious bug in the game rather than face that.
