Well, well, well...game day has finally arrived for the toughest rookie league in GLB history! Who will emerge victorious? Who will have their ego and dreams smashed? Who will learn from their mistakes? Who will bitch and complain that "the computer is cheating!!! No way my guy is that slow!!!" So many questions, so few answers...for now.

Hawaii vs Hades - Right off the bat, we have 2 legends fighting it out in William and Boss. It looks like Hawaii has updated his roster from 3 S*s yesterday to 11 S*s this morning. Can the 5 S* Hades compete? Do S*s even matter this early? Boss has a reputation for dominating in lower tiers...and it will probably continue today. Hawaii takes this one.
1980s vs Miamisburg - 1980s is back..and brining the hammer. GE...errr....Cybertron came back last season from a many years hiatus and fielded a team. He had to relearn the ropes and plans to take that knowledge and make a run to Vet. He will bring his usual dominate defense and a new and improved? offense, behind the S* option QB Jamelle Holieway. Miamisburg, on the other hand, hasn't even rostered a team yet. If he doesn't get it complete, look for 1980s to dominate this once promising, opening game.

Kentucky vs Nebraska - Wow! Another great game to start the year. Kentucky...the current reigning, and arguably best team in GLB right now, is reloading. vipermaw82 is a very good agent and has the experience to hang with Kentucky. It is rookie and Myrik_Justiciar is on record as saying he isn't very good at lower tiers. Can we see our first big upset of this amazing tier? I think so....Nebraska and Tommy Frazier roll.....24 - 10!
Davis Empire Tigers vs Birmingham Blast - nOOb vs vet. mickersd has been around a while and knows the ropes. He owns all the players on his team...though zero S*s. YungVot also owns all the players on his team..and has 2 S*s. Very similar teams but the difference in this one is experience. Can the nOOb pull off an upset? Game is close, but in the end, experience prevails. Blast by 7.

ROME CENTURIONS vs THE OLYMPUS BROOD - Kvothe27 vs Zoey. Zoey has been around a pretty long time and Kvothe27 is relatively new...but Kvothe27 has shown he can hang with the big boys. His 12 S*s will definitely help. Kvothe27 has been active and learning, non-stop, for the last few seasons. Zoey has experience and owns all the players on the team. Kvothe27 has just been too dominate lately....Brood will take down the Romans by 14.
Sons of Alderran Rebel Scum vs Intimidation Factor - Another game with 2 good agents. iRock has been lights out lately with his teams in rookie. He owns all his players and they are all on high contract. It cannot be over emphasized enough how important high contract are in rookie. LadyFlower has a powerful staff backing her...with William78 and dredgar. The team has 5 S*s and all the players are owned by great agents. 5*s vs an all high contract team owned by iRock? Gonna be close, but I will take iRock...by 10.
