MLB FFum build: https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4758880

One of my first dots since coming back. Was a bit of rust in the building process.

First Step to 10?

First Step to 7, add Snarl, or Shed Blocks or something up to 6-7?

More Vision?

IMO STR/TKL are pretty low (minimum 90 each for FF LB IMO) as they are the 2 primary components in the pre FF tackle quality roll....not much you can do about it now except maybe drop the Helmet Crash VA and go with Textbook Tackler

Strength would definitely be my concern.

Not a huge fan of that archetype. I think I could have put more into strength if I had thought 80 wouldn't be enough.

I just talked to PK, he said your dot sucks and you need to retire it.

get 20+ more strength, preferably 25 more.
10+ more tackling, preferably 15 more.

blitzing LB arch can be decent for a fast MT% LB. not really much of a FF% looking build.

why? can easily build a 4 AEQ HHLB with 102 strength, 96 tackling, 83 speed, 86 agi, 71 vis, 60 stam. great for stuffing the middle.

Thanks for the feedback. I will look into this option ASAP.

The idea behind this build was to make sure the dot was fast, with the ability to force fumbles. I feared the HH archetype would prevent me from hitting the ~154 speed I had before I moved my CEQ.

Regrettably, I built him more like a SS than a MLB. Nevertheless, he's gonna hit 79 and I was looking for a few pointers on how to spend the last 20 or so skill points. This really wasn't a "wHat sHouLD i hAVE d0ne" post.

Regardless, I did start a new wave of dots this season and I have two LB's with the HH archetype. I was planning on these two LB's to not only plug the middle at times, but to eat blocks from TE's to prevent the TE's from pancaking 2-4 players on the outside edge. I made a 6-2 defense a few seasons back and wanted to specifically build dots for it.

First Step to 10, you already invested it to 6 so may as well go all the way

This was the original plan, trying to get him to max speed quicker to allow Head Hunter to fire more.

In my experience, it seems like a FF build requires somewhere up around 100 strength to really force a lot of fumbles, and also has 2 EQ in tackling instead of just one. The better your tackle attempt, the better the chances of causing a fumble, so that MT% comes into play on the FF as well. You could potentially use your Ceq for that if you haven't already. I'm still not sure he will cause a ton of fumbles though- we had a very similarly built SS (with 22.5% MT, 15% FF, but only 6 big hit SA and no monster hit). It kinda seemed like his FF% was a waste (he'd get a few a season but rarely against a good team), so now he uses avoid fake% instead. I'm guessing your guy will force more fumbles since he has more HH SAs, but so far as I can tell, there's a limit to how many fumbles a guy will force if he isn't up around 100 strength. Maybe I'm wrong in this case. I will say, buffing that MT% w/ the Ceq should help.
