In my regular tactics I had game planned to run on 3rd and 10+, once I was losing big, things went from bad to worse when long developing passing plays started being called on 3rd and long.... Is this because my Trailing Big tactics took over? Trailing Big tactics are generic and don't account for down/distance. Is there a way to still refrain from passing on 3rd and long when trailing?

Raise the point differential at which 'losing big' takes over - I use it for desperation time where you need to save clock - in which case you do need to be throwing on third as well. Just making sure that long throws have at least one go route for your QB to lob it up to.

Yeah...set trailing big and winning big to 99. That is what I do. I hate most of those "situational" tactics. At least you can get around trailing big. You can't get around 4th quarter and end of half tactics...which are freaking frustrating.
