Anybody ever combine YAC and Power Through? YAC has +12 to Power Running and Balance, plus regain all balance right after the catch. Then Power Through for the rest of the run vs DBs mainly.

Tried it but was underwhelmed. Don't think the build is open, but has 93 power run, 76 carry awar, 80 Cit, 92 cond, 65 balance https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/208752

To be fair though, I really went away from him after Sophomore due to better weapons on offense. It's near impossible to get high power/cond, and still have elite receiving skills. With the upgrade to YAC, the build could be interesting

When it actually fired, it was nice to watch, but these were very rare

14 BRKTK on 31 catches. Not a bad ratio of ~50%. I'd take that as my 2nd or 3rd option in my offense. Plus he has to be decent at blocking...lol

I am going to be putting it on my WR, so he won't need as much power running as your TE since he will be going against CBs and not LBs and safeties.

Those are some nice runs!

YAC and stiff arm on a possession WR with PT could be nasty

Here is a build I created back in season 35.

I'm not a fan. Power Through never fires. YAC hardily ever fires. When it does fire it is extremely underwhelming.

Well, his power running is only 55 and carry awareness is 45...so yeah, PT would have a low fire rate. I would have moved some of that sprinting to power running.

And YAC...it seemed like your WR was double teamed on both plays. I think a power WR could be a good complement to a power running team. He wouldn't be the first option so the defense wouldn't double team or target him. If a power running WR catches the ball and is one on one with a CB, that is a big advantage.

He also has Catch In Stride. Does that interfere with YAC?

Yeah but in S35, YAC Attack fired off Carry Awareness and now it fires off Receiving Awareness.

Plus 55 Power Rushing isn't enough to test this.

What receivers do not have often enough when getting tackled is momentum. How do you tackle a HB with 100 power rushing? First you have to take away his momentum.

This is why power rushing receivers just do not break enough tackles to be worth the investment. If you had some plays where they reliably caught the ball on some crossing route in stride, they could be lethal though. Instead, too often they stop to make the catch.

Why do you have a 9 in stamina but don’t max it out?

Only 30 intimidation for Frieght Train?

Only 50 rec awareness for YAC?

This is the build of the power TE I posted earlier. http://www.glb2scout.com/vpimages/15_NEW_1618962561.png

We know so much more about building than S17, I see ways to improve it. Like....not taking egoist for example. Totally forgot I was going to give the TE speed too

Conceptually, it works. Finding the right balance between Sprinting, Power Rushing and Rec Skills is the puzzle.

I can get this but I don't know if he needs 89 Power Rushing or can get away with lower.
http://www.glb2scout.com/vpimages/44_NEW_1618962832.png

It's the most expensive SP skill.

If it can go lower, then you might not need Dominator and Meathead. But that's where we are now.

Only problem with Early Boomer is it reduced Power Running/Conditioning too much back then. But with the 4 extra boosts added, it make work better now.
