Season 85 Betting rules: 4th Street cost nearly everyone money with their win over the War Dawgs. Will these guys wake up soon and rock the status quo around here?

One more preseason set of games, we will reset to $5000 for everyone to start the regular season so you might as well bet the rest. Anybody else want to give it a shot? You can start with $100 if you want to give it a try.


Give your wager amount and pick all six games against the spread. List your 6 picks in order of confidence (the first pick should be your most confident, the last your least confident).
- Payoff multiplier is based on your first incorrect pick:
---You must get your first 3 picks correct or you lose your bet.
---If your first miss is your 4th pick, you win your bet amount.
---If your first miss is your 5th pick, multiplier is 3x your bet amount.
---If your first miss is your 6th pick, multiplier is 6x your bet amount.
---If you get all 6 picks correct, multiplier is 12x your bet amount.

Here we go guys. Our 5th season together gets underway this week. I will be traveling this week so I may be a bit tardy in getting this thread updated for the first few games. Make sure to get your bets in before the sims.

Anyone that starts with the Week 1 games gets $5000 to start with. If you start after week 1 you get $2000 to start with. Those that participated in the preseason betting have already “earned” their starting $5000. Anyone that goes broke during the season gets a reset to $2000, a second time gets reset to $1000. Three strikes and you are out.

Again, this season we are doing things a little different. Only one betting option. If the preseason is any indication, this could be a challenge. NDRoughneck & Gambler "win" the preseason by not betting.
