Any idea if this SA works on STs?

it does not fire until the returner catches the ball....then it will fire until the gunner is within 5 yards of the returner, and then turn off....after that if the returner ever gets more than 5 yards away from the gunner it will then fire again etc

Like monty burns explained it doesn't get to fire very often or for very long.

The SA (Closing Speed) for ST dots isn't as useful as it would seem. As those above said, it fires until you get too close then it stops... then fires again once you're too far away again. I've seen this effect on dots chasing returners down the field. They close, then fall back, then close, then fall back... ect, ect, ect. It seems Bort coded it so that you never get quite close enough to try a diving tackle but that might be just as much due to a lack or jumping and the diving tackle SA to go with it. (jumping increases the radius/range of diving tackles.) Depending on the type of returner, SA's that help your dot make tackles, avoid 'fakes', or increase their ability to change direction quickly without losing speed are some of the better ones to pursue. Force Fumbles are generally many ST coaches' desired SA as well... but not all dots can use it well so be sure to ask first.

Thanks for the details, Theo! I'm thinking I'll continue to focus on force fumbles using FF% EQ and Head Hunter/ Monster Hit SA combo.
