What is acceptable levels of Footwork and Elusive running while having pretty consistent effects ?

For example will 63 elusive running make people bite consistently ?

or

will having like 80 footwork still to be pretty agile enough for outside runs ?

I think 50 minimum Foot is good, and anything more is even better.

Elusive the higher the better as that even if Juke doesn't fire, it will help your guy be slippery. I'd want prob 70 elusive minimum on a juke back.

Do you notice a jump in elusive in going from 70 to 90 ?

I saw my guy be way more slippery... he broke more tackles without using Juke, even 80 was noticeably better.

Does footwork help with balance?

That's a good question... Looking at the Sure Footed SA it would make me believe it helps in some situations.

Only if you use Surefooted. Bort made the SA because people kept falling, but I don't think footwork itself does anything

I saw that you have a S* HB at Vet so I figured your Question pertains to his build. My first thought is that next time use the Natural Trait > Egotist. Natural doesn't have a Conditioning hit like Egotist. It's far better for a heavy Physical skills based HB build.

Footwork helps with Lateral and Backpedaling movement. The greater your Footwork, the greater the chance your HB can bounce to the side. Missing a Footwork roll probably leads to a Balance check so indirectly Footwork probably helps Balance, but it doesn't directly help unless you take the Surefooted SA (which is very good IMHO for an Elusive HB). It's on lots of Elusive HB builds these days.

Quickness helps with any angled movement that is Forward in nature.

It's awesome. This was my RB (I opened build for the next day or two), who played on a team with some really sub-par blocking and an inconsistent team plan. If he played with some WRs with even a modicum of blocking ability and a decent FB, he'd have been a world-beater.

Combined with balance (KEY!), enough quickness, and awareness (think of awareness as a force-multiplier), it's really awesome--especially against defenses that are all speed and not as much quickness/balance. It makes it seem like the defense is standing still while the dot dances around them. If you look closely at his toughness/heart/carry grip, the number of fumbles should surprise you, too. I think it's because when he got tackled, a lot less of the tackles were direct hits that could set off Monster Hit.

Gigantic nerf packaged as a fix to prevent it from firing when in situations it wasn't ideal to do so in. Went from firing once every other play to once every other quarter.
