Because when the hack went down, for whatever reason all the teams in Rookie Casual 3 had a game that was double simmed. So we all had 17 games. Myself and others submitted bug reports and I was completely transparent about my displeasure with the thing. You can find my posts on this forum. Anyway, DD said it will not be fixed. Likely becsuse at this point it can’t be fixed. So judt relax, kick back, and enjoy the journey to GLB’s first level 80.

I am actually curious on this with this team. the 79 thing is based I believe on a maximum number of boosts which hasn't changed for them. I do think it's possible they get to 80.
If they don't,. will they get screwed the season before and stop earning XP earlier? How will it affect their leftover XP for that plateau conversion. Pretty much everyone ends with 100 XP that is converted to training points and bonus tokens.
I just ran one of my players through the virtual player builder. This is correct - xp threshold at Lvl. 73 will be reached sooner. Also have a head start on gaining veteran xp. So there's the mystery solved.
I think I'm reading this right. They'll stop getting XP at Level 73, and they'll max out at Level 79.
Actually XP will stop at level 70. Once you hit level 70 you'll have 3 boosts remaining for that season (takes you to lvl 73) then 6 more boosts [minimum unless you didn't early boost] on day 0 of the following season to take you to level 79.
