yeah - I mentioned that to Palookas - they can get to WL, but staying will be tough

Yeah my comment was strictly talking about his all rushing teams in casual. He was a great dot builder as well, which made it that much harder

I remember playing the Palookas a long time ago & Steve shut their Offense down pretty easy as should other WL DC's.

Yes, he was a top dot builder at that time when there were a lot more agents building dots.

Tomcic is legit. Definitely on the short list of OC's I consider better than myself. Glad to hear he's still hanging around dotting.

Cool trivia game! That's quite the GLB coaching tree, I never knew.

Only OC I ever semi-successfully taught was this guy from Brazil that ghosted me and quit GLB. But man that 2 season OC retirement was fun back in like season 30, I tell ya!

I learned some from JT on the regular side and Avenger on the casual side

but I pretty much just dot build and let tomcic coordinate - works well for both of us

I shut them down with 2 plays. It’s easy when you have a well built D to stop an all rush team.

I just remember disa having that private forum where it felt like he would auction off 80000 dots every few seasons.

finally found the game link. their rush qb did very well but it was just 2 all blitz plays lol. if Disa couldnt do well in WL with an all rush team, i doubt anyone can.

WAY back when was a fella named Caspian who took me under his wing. 2nd fella to do that. First one was the original owner of the Kill Devil Hill Fliers (Peewee). Both of them were excellent mentors but Caspian was different. I was literally the only other person on the team. Started as a scout and then my first ST coaching job. I cannot remember a losing season with him or his team... ever. So long ago I don't remember how many titles we won either. I do seem to remember that was my first WL experience. Was he the best? Hard to say really. In some ways when you control all the dots and (almost) all aspects of the team that's both hard and easy to do right. If you're good, it's easy... if not, it's hard. I suspect it was easy for him. But other than me, I'm not sure how many others here even knew him, much less knew his work.

Currently, I can say that SeattleNiner has been a HUGE help in someone to turn to for bouncing ideas off of and watching his work has greatly helped me along the way to getting better as an OC so he'd get my vote.

Korb Destroyers anyone? Disastermaster and Zickzack were formidable.

The Korb Destoyers were one of the teams I DC'ed for. Zickzack hasn't been around for a long time now. I still have rights to the Destroyers Front Office private forum as well as the Disa OC School & the DÖDEL forum from those days.

The all run team was named - "Graz Grizzlies - JT's Lucky Runners". Won a bunch of gold trophies on the way up. Won the European Pro League in S45. Went into the WL in S46 and that was it. Disa moved to Casual the following Season if I remember correctly.

My list in no order is HCreek, MadMustaff, Mauler, Ryan (for one bold gameplan with Orlando Prime Timers around 30-40 seasons ago in WL playoffs against me)
I had the great honor to go against some great DCs like SteveMax, LittleM, Farlig (active ones), Hcreek, Ghuff, AC, JD, (for his exotic blitzes), gboro and Nexil.

Yeah, there are couple of great OCs with certain tendencies in their gameplans I still try to emulate up to this day when it comes to gameplans. Hcreek has been the specialist of maximizing the speed/jukeWR3 scheme which caused chaos during the Asau Golden Eagles, HHWC, AI days. This is why he always had the edge recruiting those heavy speed WRs for his scheme.
I hated those 165ish, RR,SH with Juke SAs he used every single time in the WR3 spot. Mad was a terror in the POs when and it showed multiple times in the finals with finding one weakness. And Mauler is simply great of combining 2 pHBs with an effective short passing scheme. Ryan had a bolt gameplan in one PO round a LONG time ago, which pissed me off up to this day and earned my respect.

I am thankful that my brother introduced me to this game since it gave me a much better understanding of football overall. Especially connecting with many great guys and keeping up the competition is worth logging in for, even after 10+ years.

Anyway, I didn't hear from Disa in a long time and I hope he is alright, since the situation here in Germany becomes worse every single day with the CoVid pandemic.

Stay healthy guys
