Rookie Leagues

S88 was a good season with a gold for Academy and a promotion to WL for Odyssey. Getting better…

Odyssey going down but Stalingrad will replace them in WL, the journey continues.

With the release of another MLB HOF class this week, thought we'd share the WLE version as we just completed our 3rd year of voting. We have been together for 8 full seasons now.

WLE Hall of Fame
The owners & coordinators truly appreciate all of you that have trusted us and helped to push our first wave of teams to the Pros. Many more are on the way in our efforts to help build a stronger, more competitive GLB. Now we are ready to start acknowledging some of those that helped get this WLE thing started. Hall of Fame time!

This will be an annual event. We believe this should be a very prestigious honor and so the selection process is very selective. At the same time, we'd like to acknowledge many of those that have contributed to our success. Below you will see the outline of how we took nominations and formed the ballot.


Round 1: Nominations
Anyone that has been given access to the WLE Owners/GM private forum may nominate. There are currently 20 owners/coordinators with access. Nominations may be done via posting in the nomination thread or sending nominations directly to jmarter. You may submit up to 5 nominees in each category:
- Management (owner/coordinator)
- Player Agent
- Player

Nominations will be taken during the preseason only. Nominations will close on Day 0.

Round 2: Ballot selection
The each ownership group will submit votes from all nominations. The owner or a representative of their team may submit the vote. They will be allowed to vote for up to 5 nominees in each category. Nominations may be done via posting in the nomination thread or sending nominations directly to jmarter. Those that are named on 25% or higher of the votes will be placed on the Official WLE HOF Ballot.

Voting will conclude by Day 16 of the season. The Official WLE HOF Ballot will then be announced.

Round 3: Final Election
The 5 member original ownership group & all HOF members will submit votes from the Official WLE HOF Ballot. Each voter may select as many or as few of the ballot choices for election as they deem worthy of HOF election. Nominees must be named on 75% or higher of the ballots to be inducted into the WLE HOF. Votes will be done anonymously via PMs to jmarter.

Voting will conclude by Day 32 of the season. The inductees will be announced prior to the start of the playoffs.
