How about like when they do the Big 12 v. SEC basketball challenge, or whatever? There are already tourneys for each age group...but if you did something where every WLE team picked a "rival" in their age group, and each one played a ranked, public scrimmage (no home team, no $ effects, playoff overtime rules, all that) against a non-WLE team, then you could just have a big post where you tracked how you did!

Yeah, good idea. We could put up a team from each league and see if we can find a challenger for each. The problem is that with so few full leagues we probably already play any "rivals" at least twice a year.

Maybe if this was something that took place between day 40-48 each offseason it would be easier to find opponents. Also be nice to see game with a little semi care those dates

As much as I respect you and I will always consider you a friend, I just think this thread has worn out it's welcome. As far as becoming competitive with my WL teams, I would enjoy that as I love competition and hated the day HCreek and others before him left. The day I feel I don't have any competition anymore which hopefully isn't soon, I would leave the game because at that point there would be no sense of accomplishment/fun anymore. As I said many a time, I am glad there are still very competent/competitive Coordinators here that still make this game fun!

Not a single coordinator in this thread is even 2% as good as you, myself included. Not sure if they’ll ever sneak into WL to face you but pretty sure their only WL team went 0-16 2 seasons ago or whatever. So enjoy that ‘rivalry’

I was just joking with Pwned is all and I am pretty sure he knew that. As far as how good I am I give all the credit to my DC(Steve) & all the agents that make up are teams of which you are one. However, you know I love competition and in the end is the only reason I stay here and your team in the WL does provide that so you are one of the reasons I stay!

Remember there was no world league? Just top pro teams, and the tournaments were the true Victor's. No doubt since world league was a thing, pros teams have been few n far of being great. So for the rest of us, it's worlds or bust. To be the best you have to beat the best.

I do remember those days and some of those teams are still around, but unfortunately quite a few of the top Coordinators left with the last being HCreek who was a great guy. However, back in those days it was kind of like College Football when you never knew who the best team really was. Once the World League came into play that was a change for the better!

Yup double edge sword. Now you know who the best is, but still like the analogy of yours college football is the perfect one. I am not saying the WLE is gonna change everything, but at lease they are a bunch of us that want to make the game make some type of comeback. Getting to the top is tough but once there its even tougher. so hopefully we as a group of agents can keep at it bring something to this game that has been really fun.

Miss him here for sure. like many others they brought life into this game. that's my goal moving forward.

The difference between WL and Pro currently is the difference between A ball & Pro baseball. Getting to the WL is very easy nowadays, but staying there is a whole different story, even though, quite a few of the best Coordinators left the game. However, as I said plenty of times before the only reason I am still here is because of the competition in the WL and once that goes away I go away as well. So any new competition that can give my crew, Ryan's crew, PK's crew or Red's crew a run for their money is more than welcome. I will also include LittleM in that conversation as I consider him a friend as I do many others in the WL currently.

I AGREE, HOPES ARE HI, Just looking forward to grinding and, getting a chance to get my arse handed to me. I think that's everyone's goal is to be tested and, to test others. its a brutal road.

I would love a chance to coordinate at the top. I'm working towards it. My first team when I came back was ill-prepared. I pretty much recruited a whole squad of rookie dots in 2 nights, and then tried to replace the shit dots as we grew up, but it was increasingly clear that there were not going to be any good FA's to bring in at the end. As much as this pissed off darncat, I decided to drop the team and wait a few seasons for a reset.

The last time one of my teams made it to world league, we won a few games but got our asses kicked. The game was much more populated back then, so I am hoping that if I can get there this time around, it would be maybe a little bit better. I know now that Mauler and Steve are coordinating half of the damn WL teams, so it's probably going to be just as hard if not harder.

Anywho, we're only a silly little rookie team right now, so we're a long time from this..
