Halfway through the preseason. Based on what we have seen so far:

1. KC Comets (A) – last second FG spared us from preseason OT
2. Hurricanes (Z) – won’t miss the playoffs this season
3. Gofers (Z) – look ready to avoid another slow start
4. Chaos (A) – broke a 6 game losing streak to fellow PP team
5. Insanity (Z) – could be 5th, could be 9th
6. STALINGRAD (A) – 9-0 preseason so far
7. WAR HAMMER (Z) – still has a Palookas win on their preseason resume
8. Palookas (A) – just hiding down here in the rankings
9. Odyssey (Z) – these guys also won’t stay here
10. Copperheads (A) – still looks a step behind
11. War Dawgs (A) – probably 2 steps behind
12. 4th Street Gang (Z) – a sleeping monster?

4. Hurricanes (Z) – Don’t kick to Steppin on the last play
5. Insanity (Z) – took advantage of the hibernating Palookas
6. STALINGRAD (A) – expectations rising
7. WAR HAMMER (Z) – expectations lowering
8. Palookas (A) – 14 passes?
9. Odyssey (Z) – playing hide-n-seek with the Palookas
10. Copperheads (A) – much better than those below here
11. War Dawgs (A) – looking like a long season ahead
12. 4th Street Gang (Z) – just hanging around

Ok, final ranking based on preseason performance. Yeah, it doesn't matter, time to get this show on the road.

3. Hurricanes (Z) – the bounce back has begun

5. Gofers (Z) – Palookas woke up
6. STALINGRAD (A) – impressive preseason
7. Odyssey (Z) – they ain’t fooling me
8. Insanity (Z) – hard to read, even for the owner
9. WAR HAMMER (Z) – will battle for a playoff spot
10. Copperheads (A) – will also be in the hunt
11. War Dawgs (A) – probably an also ran
12. 4th Street Gang (Z) – not quite ready to make a run?

Season opener always makes me nervous.
