This is a true test to see if the rhino are actually the improved team I believe they will be? Can they compete with perennial championship contender and the most dominant team thru the first 4 seasons?

I'm picking Goonies 44 - 22. Rhino keep it closer than seasons past but the Goonies prove why theyre the top of the conference.

Goonies and Khaos to damn tuff Big T, As you said we should hold better but we are not there yet brother. It will be a good test for sure. hope we can give them a game

Rhinos suck nothing to see here move along 😒 we are still missing key positions. We will see how we fair

Rhinos have a new OC on their staff and their offense is clicking pretty good but this is pre-season!
I am excited to see how we fair this season and I am truly hoping that we are able to be competitive and give everyone a great game!

GOTW week 2

Two of the best teams over the past few seasons meet up for the week 2 game of the week. Both Ransom and Goonies come into the contest 1-0. Winner of this contest should be squarely in charge of winning zeta conference.

Prediction. Goonies 34-27

Just saw this thread, hope you keep it going brother. Great games Rhinos and Ransom!! I'm really happy we have so many consistent and good teams left in this league. I hope we can all keep it going until these dots retire. Some really good rivalries have been created over the past few seasons for sure.

We were feeling pretty good last season until Kansas cleaned our clocks in the Championship. My hiney still hurts from that game.

Game 2 Goonies never say die 23-10! This was a classic Goonies grind it out game. A game they won by field position, field goals, and creating turnovers. 3 turnovers and using their special teams to pin the ransom deep and give them long fields all game.

Play of the game up 9-3 and forcing a fumble on the punt to flip field position and eventually leading to a FG

Werther's (2-0) vs Yorktown (1-1)

A matchup of two teams who really like to ground and pound. Both feature great running games. This game has potential to be a deciding factor in the playoff seeding in alpha conference.

OK State Outlaws (0-3) vs Yorktown Generals (1-2)

I'm gonna be honest with you. Theres only two decent matchups this week as 4 of the games will likely be 100+ point blowouts. This game and the button/werthers are the only legit matchups. I picked this game because I believe the winner of this game has a good shot at snagging the 4th seed and making the playoffs. They've both played pretty tough schedules so far. Outlaws are rolling out a pretty depleted roster so they could struggle to hang in the 4th quarter but I believe they are a bit better dots to win out here.
