I've been playing this game for years and I'm dumb. Is it considered weak if you got players in a casual league?

Ha, depends on who you ask.

WL is still the "most competitive" but Casual Pro imo is a very close second, the main difference is Casual there's no advanced AI so you can gameplan in 5 minutes, whereas WL OC/DC in the playoffs still likely actually scout and spend an hour or two.....

to build on this.....

both are very competitive

Casual is still easier to be competitive in if you have good builds

You will get blown out of the water in WL if you don't have a really good AI

This. I keep winning casual pro with no help all because of my builds. Anyone can be a winner

And to build on all the above, there should be no difference in the quality of the dot builds in either league. That there's even a "question" about build quality is due to attitudes from team owners and head coaches about the quality of each league but if you want to win in Casual you need the same quality dots they have in Regular leagues... perhaps even more so since you cannot hide any dot deficiencies with specialized defenses and offenses.

Great post Theo. The WL guys will never agree with you and me about just this but we do know.

yeah - you can use specialized builds better with regular AI's - more generic builds are needed in Casual because of this

quality is high in both; just different end builds required

I am a long time casual guy, but with regards to the bold, the biggest difference is in recruiting. Casual Teams that are built and grow together are very well built. If you have to fill holes through recruiting, it is still very hard to recruit the best dots to come play in Casual Pro. Most quality dot builders (and tons of bad dot builders) want WL only.

I can confirm this is true. I coordinate both sides of the ball, and all I do is click a button. Some say it's more than 1 click, and maybe they're right. Could be why I suck at coordinating

Preferred CasPro over WL for a while myself, and if I have a player with offers from both leagues I'll generally pick the CasPro league team, unless it is a very specialised build.

Cas pro is the best when MK is posting his rankings and predictions. Cas pro will probably suck for the next seven season or whatever until SCK is back but then cas pro will be great again

SCK has been great no doubt, but it's not like you are the first 5 season juggernaut. Sofia had it's time, Chiefs had their time, GAG, Her Majesty, Tets.....You've had a hell of a run, but you are also just another in a group of teams that have a hell of a run.

Yeah. We’ll get 5 golds next time though. Not even worried about it
