It just sucks form him because he bet on himself...He got the franchise tag, wanted the huge Mahomes like contract, and was on pace for 6,250 yds...Id cry too with that much money on the table

yea sucks for him, should of taken the 105 million guaranteed the cowboys offered him...

because he is not on that wilson, mahomes, or rodgers talent level.

I agree, say he completed this season, gets the 6,250yds and almost every game was a shoot out. I wonder what Dallas would have done in that situation. Now Florio said he either gets franchised again in Feb or becomes a free agent.

i think some of if it would of depend on circumstance... did they win games or were they pass heavy because they were losing almost every game playing catch up. i think dak is a good qb but over played his hand. Its just hard to rate nfc east quarterbacks..total crap division... wentz, d. jones.. andy dalton, might he end up being the best QB in the nfc east this season?

Ain't writing him off yet. After watching Mahomes with his knee last season I won't stick a fork in Dak until the Cowboys do.

I'll give Dallas fans a few weeks of Dalton and assume they'll want Dak bak.

Dallas is done this Season as they have the worst "D" in the NFL. Now with Dak going down they will go from the 2nd best Offense to 15th at best when all is said and done. The sad thing is they could still win their Conference because all those teams suck, but any team that has a good "D' will beat them now as Dalton is no Dak as Dak is no Mahomes.

Hope he had insurance, i dont blame him for holding out for the big deal but he undoubtedly lost a ton of money.

All I know, is that if I was in his shoes, there is no amount of money that could make me sign with Dallas again.

Dallas will be in a position to draft a high end QB, they will be terrible and won't have to actively tank to land a top 5 slot.

Not sold on this narrative yet. He wasn't going to get the ton of money from Dallas, or he would have already.

From a team perspective, Dallas wasn't a contender so he could go to a scrub team with a ton of cap space... Maybe the Jets move on from Darnold, and draft another high end position of need.

How much would it sting JJ, if Washington pulls the plug on Haskins?

Or maybe he goes the contender route, for less per year, but longer term.

Rivers is playing behind one of the best o-lines in the league on a 1-year $25m contract. Cam is on a 1-year deal. Big Ben is getting up there, is Rudolph the answer?

I didnt even think of this, he probably did. Now a days all superstar college players have it to some extent.
