i'm back too, but unfortunately i don't remember my old nickname/password. It was surely Crik, Crik_qc or Criket but i tried everything to recover it, without success so i started a new one....leaving a lot of flex points behind lol

For now just player making

I've already made a few player-building mistakes in my recent return, but the competition doesn't look as tough as it was 10 years ago. Not being an owner/coordinator or using scripts to make factory bots gives more freedom, feels more like the early seasons. I'm proud of my new more natural dots

Interesting finding this post as I am considering playing again after about 10 years. Is it worth the time? Has it changed much? What is the difference between GLB and GLB2?

GLB is the game. GLB2 is not a game. To answer your questions, it's worth my time.

Not much has changed in the build process in the last 10. GLB is as it's always been but that's the attraction. It's still the place for the nuts and bolts kinda builders and coaches. GLB2 is like it's just a step above Casual (here) but not quite Regular leagues (here). Dot building is simplified a bit more. Graphics are different... some like them... some don't. Coaching is less intensive. There's a few things we wanted here (like the ability to build a dot mid season and have that dot be able to be equal to dots built at the start of the season) that the new game employs but not enough to entice everyone away from GLB here... which is why there's more people here than there.
Over here in GLB land, the overall quality of the teams playing each other has tightened up. Buncha old dogs and it's hard to fool 'em as much as back in the day.
