I know everyone hates how bad FG kickers are in the game. But, is there a point you can actually rely on them? And, if so, what stats do they need to have before they become reliable? I'm not talking 50+ yards but 40 or less.

idk our kicker made 5 fgs on rookie... i just dump it all in accuracy, then consistency.

Pretty quickly with the way i made my kicker he has never missed a 20-29 or under which was 12/12 field goal (30-39)8 out of 13 (40-49) 9out of 20 50 +
0 out of 4 so far
Also i'm pretty sure these stats are only based of league as well
so i would say even at level 5 they can pretty dam good if you know what your doing

I hate how punters never get coffin kicks like past Soph too... it's just drop back and punt it into the endzone every time.

Yeah, I have tried to invest heavily in punt hands/accuracy too. If you hit those hard, punters should perform more angle kicks when in position to do so to pin teams back inside of the 5 or 10 more reliably.

Ball bounce needs more variability, some should bounce sideways, backwards, etc.

I don't let my kicker kick over 39 yards FGs. He's got a high contract. He has 69 accuracy. And, he's only hit 26 of 39 (67%) including hitting only 2 of his last 6.
So, again, what accuracy does a kicker need to have to hit reliably from 40 yards or less.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here but this is a joke. Not even high school kickers are this bad.

That would go a long way to fixing the situation.

Meh I turn them loose up to 55 yards... otherwise your out is worth a 15 yard net
