I am helping out a team with finances and am trying to build stadium sections. I click on "Build Section" then "OK" when it asks Really Purchase This Upgrade, but then the screen just goes back to how it started and still asks if I want to build the section. I realize that sections aren't built until off-season and I haven't built stadiums for a while, but I was sure that the section description changed when I requested a section be built.

Am I doing something wrong or do I not remember things correctly or is something broken with GLB? Any advice will be appreciated.

Probably something broken. Must say cancel construction and be able to take your money back. You can see it from money balance, if the money are still there there will be no construction.

Thanks for the responses. It seemed buggy to me, as well, but I wanted confirmation because it has been a while since I built sections.

Does your browser have a 'private' or ' incognito' mode? That's what I try first when something buggy happens. It could be a cache issue. When you go private, you go around all that.

I just built a section without issue - perhaps have someone else try it from your pool of GMs

After you click and it looks the same it doesn't say "Cancel construction" now?

No. It says Build Section.

I am using an ad blocker. I'll try turning that off.

not the same thing. web browsers "accelerate" your experience using cached web pages. basically stored old copies, which most of the time work well enough. that cache can cause weird issues on older site like this one. when you go private, it disables all cache and history so you always get a current version of the web page.

when this season rolled over, I got the old offline for many hours glitch. it was like 7 am and still out. i had to go incognito to see the site was actually working.

I had the same problem. 6-7 hours later and had the same message. For the moment thought game was out for good!

I cleared my cookies, cache, history and everything else and no change. I tried it on my phone and the same thing happens. The team owner can't get the stadium building to stick, so there seems to be something wrong. I have sent a PM to support. If I get a fix, I will post here in case anyone else has the same problem.

Does the team have enough money to pay for the upgrade? I've never tried to see what happens in that situation.

Doesn’t let you, the box remains without colour for the section you can’t built.

I did it today with no issues. So it may have been a glitch. try again

if you don't have the money, a pop up box appears stating as much. Don't know what Kenshinzen is referring to
