Bulls have had 12 before I believe when we went full s* O-line... Was also easier with the different salary caps per tier back in the day

edit: Oh I guess we have 12 now lol, you could definitely squeeze 13-15 just depends what stars you want

It’s truly how you manage the salaries of builds. We could easily build like a 15 star one but they would all have crappy builds more than likely and still be sub-par. Also you would have very minimum depth

Glb scout makes a giant difference lol did a lot of number crunching but i think theres quite a few build you can make without using all the gimmicky bios that add a lot of salary. Definatly gonna be fun to see how it all turns out

Without using CPU players, low salary, or shitty depth, I can only fit 7 or 8.

weve got 10 and only 2 CPU, we could sign one more human if we wanted, but the CPUs are only there to fill minimum cap size. i signed two centers, lowest contract a CPU player can have besides K and P, and plus i use them both on ST return teams because blocking is split between pass and run blocking so figured CPU Cs would have a good balance there then we plan on picking up 2 more in sophomore season buddy of mine is holding onto without putting on a team this year. and i think we have 5 or 6 High contracts on team too

Oh I can fit 10-11 easy with good depth. Most of all of my rosters have at least 10 stars and still have good stamina based for the team so depth or conditioning isn't an issue.

Maybe its the positions I use them in, and the traits I'm taking with them? I also keep enough room for a couple high salaries.

High salaries aren't always needed. The traits you use on all of your players do play a major effect. If you are using the most expensive traits on every dot then you will have much less cap space. But if some of the dots like lineman and corners you can use less expensive spots and have a solid roster still.

One aspect to keep in mind is what you choose to have random depth at on your roster as well. If you mainly use 2-3 lb formations on defense there is no reason to keep 5 linebackers on your roster. Many times 3 DE are the max you ever need. Those are two of the most expensive roster spots right out the gate. Star qb i haven't seen being worth it anymore and they cost a ton.

Star spots that are honestly a must on any team (unless you are all run or pass) is HB, TE, and SS. After that its a toss up of plans and experiments. WR using speedster or egotist are going to cost more and with most teams you find will be an excessive tax to the cap.

This is a huge mistake I see so many teams make. I see so many teams with 5-6 LBs, 4 DEs, 6+ WRs. That's when agents get irritated and want released because they only see a few plays a game and wrecks your salary cap.

This is why I only carry 2 human WRs. I know where I want to target every play and I want to target my best WR generally a star. The third WR may get just 2-3 targets a game. That's no fun for them. May as well play a TE as the third WR and give that agent's TE some extra plays and 2-3 extra targets.

I have 3 star LBs on my team so I have a CPU as my forth. If it's only going to play in 4LB sets may as well have it cover the FB.

Too much depth is a very common problem.
