It looks like he threw the ball backwards as he was getting up after tackli g the WR? Im so confused lol so there is a tip drill within the sim?

It looks to me like the ball was knocked loose by the FS and caught by the CB.

There was no backwards throw. The ball was simply knocked loose and hung in the air long enough for the CB to catch it.

It looks like the back leg of the FS as hes getting up kicks it to the CB. Obviously physically thats not what happened in the sim, this is first time im seeing a tipped pass being intercepted. Is that just high intercepting skill from CB? Is there anything that went into the roll for the CB to allow him to see the ball after being knocked loose? The replay itself looks funny to me, also it goes with an Ability i suggested last season called "Tip Drill" to increase the chance of the interception after the knock loose. I can read what happened, it says exactly what you said in the play end description. Thanks for rewriting what was already writen. Any one else that might have anything to say other than what the game and sim has already told you?

Edit: thats the little "im above you" attitude that drives new players away. This is in the GLB forum thread because its discussing the game. I was looking for thoughts of other agents of why this doesnt happen more often, or the slight delay from knocked loose to interception. Instead of just shooting down immideatly the thought and idea of some one just because you can retype whats already there, why not try some imagination of thought. The ball is not even on screen when knocked loose, then magical is behind both the WR and FS when the CB grabs it. Its not as straight forward as the typing of the play description always types it out. God i hate toxic people.

Happens a lot actually, probably more than it should - but not enough to break the game or anything.

a tipped ball is prime to get picked off, the defenders were already looking at it in the air and a change of direction a little bit and upward makes it easy to grab. But a ball caught and then knocked loose is almost always going to hit the turf.

But as I said, although it happens a lot more often than it should - it's not enough to break the game at the moment.

I do think that a bit of realism could be added by resetting the 'time in air' bonus on interceptions on a catch and knock loose instead of allowing them to continue building the bonus as though the pass is still in the air.

Because with the frquency a player in position catches those - they most certainly are getting that bonus.

Wasn’t trying to be condescending.

I have seen tipped interceptions happen quite a few times, usually a few times a season in the upper leagues.

Seemed pretty straight forward to me, and I was legitimately confused as to what the issue was.

But it is more common in the upper leagues. Vet defenders have the quickness, awareness, and interception skills to converge and make a play on the ball.

It is pretty rare in rookie and sophomore now that I think about.

A key thing to note is that what we see onscreen is just an approximation of what’s happening in the sim.

Thank you, i might have read it wrong. Hard to hear a tone in a voice when typed. I appologize. And yes i have not been in the upper leagues to have seen this happen before. First team just finishing sophmore year this season. But like you said its the best interpretation of the sim that the replay can show. Just seemed wonky to me, but you who has seen it more often wouldnt think the same. Either way hell of a play and thats why it was top of replay list that day. It is very realist though, that is the entire reason for "tip drills" even in pro practice. Im sure theres plenty of other things i havnt personally seen yet. I only ever mean to discuss things, i never mean to come off as though im complaining.

Should have seen this in alpha, was about a 50/50 chance whenever a ball was knocked loose for it to be intercepted lol
