He slowed the ball carrier down and disrupted his balance, from the looks of it.

Game hasn't had that in the code before. If it's a new addition, neat, but why didn't we get word of it?

I mean, here's a similar fall down after broken tackle that didn't result in a tackle for the guy on the ground behind him:

Seen it around since the balance changes from a while back I think. The RB's balance was drained during the tackling and he ran out of it, and fell down afterwards. The rain factored in also.

But falling down should not count as him being tackled is what I am saying. They just fall down and can get back up. He gets tackled here, by the guy he had broken a tackle of a bit ago.

Do you really think any of this is going to be fixed?

might as well catalog everything and make connections, if really obvious patterns arise it could lead to easy fixes.

He never recovered from breaking the tackle and fell down.

same happened in the other replay, he wasn't marked down. All I'm saying is that's inconsistent with how the sim has treated it forever and ever, if you fall down even after contact you can get back up. If you get dragged down by a defender you can't. I've never seen this situation before this, and have seen the ball carrier get the opportunity to stand back up.

Idk I kind of see a difference between the plays (assuming you're referring to the punt return when you say other replay).

In your replay (where he's marked down) the defender is still caught up in a tackle animation and honestly still could've been gripping the carrier from there. In the other replay the defender who tried to make the tackle has gone through the whole tackle animation and is trying to get up when the ball carrier falls.

Also, this probably still happens but I remember (specifically when power RBs were more prominent) a visual bug where defenders would still be able to grip a ball carrier despite it looking like they were too far from them. Remember, not everything that you see reflects what is happening behind the scenes. Hell, for all we know that FB could've gotten an extra tackle roll on the punt return when he falls a second time lol.

they both are fully on the ground when the player goes down... he's still up on your screen?
