I don't know how to supply a link to an individual play, however, August 7, Wolverines vs. Dragons, 11:00 of 2nd quarter, 2nd & 8 to go:

Pass is thrown and caught, receiver runs about 10 yards then tackled.
Play description: "...made the catch but the ball was knocked loose..."
Next play is 3rd & 8. So, it wasn't a catch?

So, I thought I was missing something.

The "knocked loose" bug has apparently been around since the beginning, and seems beyond the ability of Bort and/or Corndog to fix. You can take consolation of a sort knowing that it affects everyone pretty much randomly and equally, if that helps.

It's at least a rarity to see anymore instead of something you see every other game or so.

It seems to happen mostly when HBs are the receiver.

I remember like a 50 yard interception return end in a knocked loose.

I have no shame in admitting to this.

There's half a dozen sanity checks to make sure it doesn't happen, including time of possession, balance, grip checks, distance traveled. If any of them return true it should be classified as a fumble instead of knocked loose. The fact that it still happens boggles my mind.
