I'd be willing to "waste" flex on 1 defensive dot CB with 130 speed, 110 vision, 90-100 agility? Might suck at other stuff.......but whatevs LOL

I remember some DC's used to swear by having agility and speed be the same number - back in like seasons 20 or so

Also remember there was a test server for a number of seasons that several had access to and could access any type of build they wanted to. Odds are some of these extreme builds were created during this time for testing

That requires him to put in any sort of effort. He’s a shitty agent and a terrible builder. Just wants someone else to do the work

Machu Pichu owned by tautology back in the S30s had high vision at every position

This is something I remember as well...

A lot of people appear to be assuming that I'm saying you could plug my "in theory" dot into your current world league team and it would do well... I'm very sure that isn't true.

The team would have to be modified entirely for this to work, and the DAI along with it.... if these dots weren't capable of being treated differently within the play creation process they certainly wouldn't be worth making.

Making one dot like this would make no progress in testing the theory.

I'm no expert dot builder and it sure wasn't WL but most of my defenders in the early seasons I made with really high vision and lower speed and they got a lot of interceptions but they most often just got burned.

I guess the 1st part would be to define what one would consider to be the numbers. What's a 'low' speed? What's a 'high vision'. Because it would seem to me you can adjust things around to achieve 'almost high' and 'almost low' which wouldn't exactly prove or disprove any theories.
As for myself, I long ago swapped out Agility for Vision on my Safeties, LB's, and CB's leaving them with mid-high 80's agility and 90's+ Vision so I get the 'vision' angle SB is speakin about and agree. But I also suspect that many WL builds (of those same positions) have the same vision (90's+) as well. So I'm not sure where exactly the loss in 'speed' comes from?

the dot I reference earlier in this thread that won MVP equipment last season has over 90 agility and vision

Any of these builds that you are willing to open, or at least link so I can watch some replays? Greatly Appreciated if so.

Not a criticism of the build but I can see how you ended up with 90+ in both agility and vision (as well as 160+ in speed). If I'm right, the dot is an INT build CB? Probably a lethal weapon against the pass. Does have some issues against the run though (missed tackles). Again, that's not a criticism... almost always, when building most dots, if you want to be great at something you usually have to sacrifice something else. Even Stoned Beaver's idea agrees that to get the skill numbers he want's in other areas he has to sacrifice something... in his case, speed. With my CB, I 'sacrificed' a little agility and catching to make sure he could have high enough tackling. He's not an INT build... just a 'cover/deflect' style.
