I have updated my depth charts refreshed the pages and ensured my players are are in spot 1 and it still shows CPU players? Did I do something wrong?

If you're talking about your team page, then no. It just takes time. Probably roll over tonight.

The team page doesn't update every time you change something.

Which Depth Chart was selected for this game on your Tactics Calendar? Or did you just leave it at Default?

I never trust using "Default" anything on the Tactics Calendar. It's too easy to think something is the default when the default is actually set to something else.

o... this old bug again...

we need to dig up the fix every couple seasons... lemme see if i can find it.

can't find it.

The bottom line is that there's an arcane way to make the default work which involves clearing everything in a certain order or something, don't really remember.

The easier work around is to create a Preset, like Novus said. Then you should be able to "apply preset" and then in that tactics calendar, you can use that preset also.

It happens because somewhere, in what the default Ai picked out, there's a conflict. You have to blank everything out, and make sure everything in every tab is empty. Then load in what you want. I've never had it happen to me personally, but I'd be willing to bet there's a player somewhere in your depth chart that isn't actually on the team, and it's left over from before the rookie team was bought and reset.

Those CPU dots are still on the depth chart. Even though the dots are slotted in spot 1 on the dc, isn't it normal for it to go to slot 2 after the dots stamina hits a certain point? Energy settings might need to be adjusted? Rookie dots so stamina would be low and draining quickly. Perhaps take the CPU right off the depth chart completely depending on what you're looking to do.

exactly what he said^
spot #1 on the DC means they are the 'starters'. When their energy gets below what you have it set for in your "tactics" -either basic or advanced energy (check those becuz Advanced Energy overrides basic tactics) then the back-up comes in. That's football. The team I help run doesn't even really use starters- we have the settings at 98/99 so the freshest guy always in becuz we have ridiculous depth (which is one of the ways to have a great team). However, with all those CPUs, you want the human players to play as much as they can even when they tired until they exhausted they should be better than the CPU if you have more than 10 CPUs. So set your energy settings accordingly. You might want 70/71, or 60/61, even 50/51 maybe even further. Also, you might not want 2 CPUs behind your human starter becuz thats more snaps for the CPUs. In any event, those are the issues
