Sorry to keep everyone waiting (especially Novus); time flies when you're having fun! As an update, S80 saw the retirement team Elysium Immortals (https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/team.pl?team_id=2), a.k.a. the "worst team in GLB history" of "why does this team exist" lore, make the playoffs in RPL#3 with a full roster of old-assed human-owned (no CPU) dots, all >480d old (most WAAAYYY older than that). Was fun! We currently have 2 openings for S81: CB & DE. Must be >480d, with preference given to Agents who want a long-term landing spot for their dot(s). PM me with interest.

Abyss Lords (https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/team.pl?team_id=292) also added more human-owned dots to their retirement roster this past season, and still has openings at a number of positions. Contact Livestrong (https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/home.pl?user_id=187898) with interest.

The next step is to get an entire division of retirement teams for some new/fun competition! Bring out yer "dead" dots to one of these existing teams and join in the fun, or purchase a CPU team in RPL#3 next season and start building your own retirement team! Got a whole team that's hit decline? Don't retire them, bring them on over and instantly join in the fun! "Young" retirement teams with 480d-600d teams will crush our existing ancient rosters the first few seasons, and are virtually guaranteed to make the playoffs!

Have fun!

I know, right? The owner of team ID 1 hasn't logged in for a couple months and has all CPU players. I'm quietly waiting for it to become available, at which point I will buy it, market it, and profit bigly. Keep that on the DL though.

That's easy. All the dots are so old they spend 98% of their time on the DL.

True...but YOU'RE so old you still call it the "DL", which:

1) never existed in NFL
2) was replaced by the "IL" in MLB

Shame on you for still referring to injured players as "diabled", you insensitive old curmudgeon!

wait, is this real? I had no idea they didn't call it the DL anymore....

I haven't watched baseball in many years though, so I guess I wouldn't know.

Wait a minute, brother. YOU are the one that said 'Disabled List'... not me. I meant exactly what you meant... the 'Down Low'... as in that's about there you'll find their balls... down low.

Just happened last year: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/02/08/baseball-got-it-disability-rights-advocates-hail-mlbs-decision-shelve-disabled-list/

I mean, this was life changing for me. It was definitely near the top of my list of mass confusion and injustices in the world. I can't tell you how many times I nearly had a heart attack when I heard a professional baseball player was placed on the Disabled List, thinking he had lost both his legs in a horrific car accident or something, only to learn he just tweaked his hamstring rounding first base and would be back in action in 10-15 days.

At my age, being 'full of it' is par for the course... unless you catch me after a bout with diarrhea.
