Upon further review, the receiver was not able to stay in the end zone while completing the catching process.

I was watching the game live and was caught up at the time and I'm sitting on the couch hootin and hollerin about reviewing that play
And then the next play happens and I'm like, 'no shit they really "reviewed" it' haha. I just hope I don't have this big bug pop up in a game where that play decided who won or not. Of the 3 times this happened, it's happened to the winning team.

With the game on the line he just makes this unbelievable diving catch and gets robbed of what would have been a career high light, front page news on GLB2, and ESPN. After the game when asked about the play, star WR Dave Caudill III of Kentucky had this to say:
"I think sometimes things have to get really, really bad before there is change. I bet you that there is going to be a significant change in that. I needed to make a football move? I mean, how you can catch the ball, get both feet down and inside the endzone while diving for it, and they say it’s not a catch? No. It’s stupid, man.”
