thanks all for the information.

i've always been a little leery about enhancing attributes with too many stars. as was mentioned, if you open up QT early, you often do so with little to no enhancements. as you're training (and losing those gains), you start enhancing, but you also need BTs to later open up more attributes for QT. and earn enough BTs to enhance those. every once in a while, you feel you need to spend 15-30 BTs to hit a cap early. and then, there's that 'suggestion' not to train attributes in certain zones so essentially (for all that enhancing), you're not even training the attribute the whole time.

add all that and i had to wonder if anyone was enhancing each attribute to 3 stars (i was pretty sure 4 would be out of the question), or leaving it to two.

but thank you all for the insight.

I have no problems with JD's guide (use it myself) except that nobody's ever challenged it thoroughly (to the best of my knowledge). It's a good possibility what I'm trying won't be better than what anyone else has tried already... but I'm still gonna try it and find out. If it doesn't work, my dot's will likely get recycled... especially if not good enough. If good enough they'll help someone. If actually better than most then I'm gonna get naked, get drunk, and dance on the f'n ceiling.

84-87: 1/3/4/5 are fine, 2* rounds down to 1* gains.
87-95: 1/2/4/5 are fine, 3* rounds down to 2* gains.
95-100: 1/3/5 are fine, 2->1* gains, 4->3* gains.

Little correction on my TL;DR ... the break points are 84-87, 87-94*, 94*-100. Not a huge deal, but yeah that top range is a hair bigger than advertised.
