On Power this is not an issue even for a broken tackle by an elusive runner, but on combo, slippery, and elusiive - the runner always has to sidestep and dance around the downed guy like he's afraid of being tackled

There's little point in me breaking a bunch of tackles if each time he's going to give the defense 2-3 seconds to catch back up to him, you already lose more momentum than a powerback, this is killing my back's potential for breakaways.

No offense but I'm gonna have to call BS here. I do see where you are coming from though.

Looks pretty fast to start moving forward after a BT:

BT after BT and keeps on truckin. nice run btw.

I build power backs so I can certainly say that they sure as hell lose momentum when breaking tackles.

I didn't say that powerbacks didn't lose momentum - I said elusives lose more when breaking a tackle than a powerback. And that, unless you are running on power, if you break a tackle and end up behind the player who is down, your player then 'avoids' the downed tackler. Even on that second run you posted the HB hesitates to go near the downed player for a second. It doesn't happen if the tackler in question is behind the runner because the runner just tries to run away from a potential tackler, but if you get knocked backward any at all then suddenly the back has to avoid the guy laying on the ground as well.

Frankly, it may be happening on powerbacks as well, and I just don't notice it as much these because they don't end up being knocked backwards behind the defender as often when breaking a tackle.

Edit: so yeah, Phase was on Power settings for this game somehow, so apparently it's not even about what style of running was used, if you end up being bounced bakwards you're going to try and avoid the downed tackler.

I personally would never bring it that high(don't think that is affecting it anyway) but I honestly think it just is what it is. Just mark it up to RNGesus not a bug or else it would have to be changed for PBs and god knows, no one wants that.

He's agile enough to run around something faster than that, he does it when a block happens in a bad spot all the time. The hesitation is similar to when he is trying to fake out a guy before busting away.
