Is this ability effective? Thinking of putting it on DE and CB.

Never tried it on a DE, because there are better SAs for them, but I have tried it on CBs and it seemed like a waste. No significant improvement.

I agree with atlbruce. Shed Block/Closing Speed are both better options for covering the outside run, and if you're looking for better run stopping in general I'd go with deathgrip/brick wall over Contain Expert.

Used gold Contain on both my CBs during my last Vet run, and found it very effective. Keep in mind they both had 95 pursuit though.

Big benefit is that it clog up running routes on the edges nicely.

I've used Contain Expert to good effect on CB's myself several times and like it very well on them.

What do you guys usually recommend for Break Run Block and Pursue skills on a CB?

BRB 30-40 (greater than most WRs RBT), and Pursuit 50+ if you don't want to be a PA sucker.

Agree with Bruce again. It's cheap enough to invest ~40 in BRB and be somewhat effective at run stopping.
