I'm guessing something odd happened with the sim this past week as we had close game galore (that's not normal). The biggest difference being 27 points...peeps say no changes are happening in GLB...when most games are 50+ blowouts to have every single game within 27 points or less is simply unprecedented.

GAME OF THE WEEK
San Dimas Saints - 23
Running Gag - 19
Running opened up a 3-0 lead in the first before the train left the tracks in the second quarter. The Saints took it to them getting 17 aided by QB Eric McCormick's two long TD runs (64 and 84.5 yards). Not to be phased the Gag closed the gap to 17-16 after three quarters and took the lead early in the fourth on a FG to make it 19-17. San Dimas took over in the final three minutes of the game by taking on two FG's to lift them to the huge upset victory. How huge you say? Well, these Saints were outscored 83-7 in their two losses to Gag last season so job well done to croxley and crew on flipping the script.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
San Dimas Saints QB Eric McCormick. Gag doesn't give up many games over a 100 yards to many teams let alone individual rushers but Eric came through for the Saints in a shocking upset (likely the biggest ever in CP history). The QB only went one of two through the air for 37.5 yards but gashed the Gag for 206.5 yards (ON ONLY 9 CARRIES - 22.9 ypc) and two TD's. The TD runs were noted above but both occurred in the second and went for 64 and 84.5 yards.
WEEKLY PICKS
San Dimas Saints @ LG Canucks - Canucks won't be able to stop the runaway upstarts looking to shock the west...31-24
Chile Chupacabras @ Running Gag - When the champs get shocked you better lookout and one has to feel back for Chile as Running is going to be looking for some payback...38-7
Not Fast, Just Furious @ Ethiopian Camel Snackers - My top team should get by NFJF without much of a hiccup as the chemisty is still an issue and the team doesn't seem right...35-13
Las Vegas Chaos @ Burma Black Dragons - Vegas has dropped two close ones but will have their hands full before finally winning a tight one...24-17
Charlestown Chiefs @ Magua's Revenge - Two of the top teams battle and I'm predicting both will win on their home field and this one is at Revenge...27-24
Tenerife Crusaders @ Sofia Spiders - Sofia gets a break after a tough loss and will win going away...50-0.
POWER THREE
1. Ethiopian Camel Snackers - Pitched a shutout against Chile as the D is only giving up 1.5 ppg on the season.
2. Charlestown Chiefs - Won the turnover war against Sofia to remain unbeaten.
3. Magua's Revenge - Had a battle with the Chaos but came home with the W to crack the top trey.
OUT: Running Gag - got pimped slapped by San Dimas.

GETTING PART-TIME JOB AFTER THIS DISASTER OF A WEEK. When a five team NFL teaser saves you from owing a ton you know it was a piss poor weekend.

I got Magua in the survivor pool too. Hopefully the Chiefs only loss so won't be able to pick against us again
