GLB2 seems to be winding down a bit. The game itself isn't in a bad place mechanics wise, but the league tier "grind" doesn't play well anymore when there's only 71 human teams left. By the time a squad gets to Pro, it's largely CPU teamss filling the tier.
So, if possible, would the Devs consider an additional League format. Something more in line with the NFL, and would eliminate the "grind" of waiting multiple seaosn just to get to Vet.
Addtional League structure idea:
-Would have ideally have set league structure of 32 or 64 teams. Could be expanded if demand warratned it from human owners
-Offseasons hava a "Draft".....only teams don't actually pick players, but instead get "draft slots". The first 10-15 picks are S* players, and the overall skill points of a picks goes down on a sliding scale based on draft psotion. So a #1 pick would be a S* build with the highest possible SP, and a late round pick would be a non-S* with lower overall SP. This balances the S* players aorund the league, and allows GMs/Agents to still make the players they want.
-Owners/Gms can then open up these slots for agents to make their players(or make their own). Granted, this part would be the trickiest to implement.
-Players still progress and peak around their 5th season, maintaining their prime for a few seaosns, and then SP drops progressively after that. GMs can keep a player as long as they want...but obviously a 15 year player likely will be a washed out shell.
-This means teams would have players from Vets to rookies and so on. Mananging a team, coaching, player building, free agency, all become far more interesting again. Set leagues also means better rivals, and suits the smaller userbase
Just an idea.
